My last wedding of 2020. It was so incredibly magical. The wedding started with a ceremony on Vashon Island where a dense layer of clouds laid on top of the Puget Sound while I set up. By the time the ceremony started, the clouds lifted for a perfect sunny ceremony. While the ceremony was happening on Vashon Island, I took to ferry over to Tacoma where I set up the Bride’s backyard into a micro wedding. Lu, the bride, has now turned into one of my good friends and #1 supporter. It is weddings like this that make me so damn happy to do this for a living.
A Rainy Fall Seattle Backyard Micro Wedding
This backyard Covid micro wedding was one of my favorite weddings of 2020. It was dreary and misting and so Seattle weather. The family built out the backyard with a tent, dance floor, and a stunning ceremony space right under the giant tree in the middle of the yard. My first tree installation ever. It was definitely a challenge but I am so happy with how it all turned out.

body art studio shoot
This shoot was something I had dreamed about doing for a long time after being inspired by Passion Flower Sue and all of her incredible creations. I am so drawn to the detail work of body art and how endlessly creative it can be. Amanda Dang worked her makeup magic and Marcella Laine took all the photos. My goal for this shoot was to highlight Black women through art & creativity. It’s hard to put into words the energy and empowerment that was felt in this studio during this shoot. Women encouraging women, embracing sexuality, and just so much fucking beauty.

summer camp wedding in north seattle
These two met while both being summer camp counselors at this exact camp that they got married at. There were buckets of sunscreen, an aquarium of sea animals, a camp cat strutting around, guys playing guitars, kayaks, a rock wall, and so so so much love and excitement. Not your traditional wedding setting but the location was so special to everyone there, you could feel the loving energy just emitting off of everyone. All photos by Brooke Embree.
seattle summer beach wedding
A magical wedding on the water with little wildflower like flowers to brightened it up. Briana & John were a dream to work with and after a crazy cancellation from their original venue, they handled all the last minute planning with such ease and just were happy to be getting married to each other. Worked with the amazing Melissa at Brightside Events and all photos are by the absolutely wonderful Brittney Hyatt.
enchanted forest wedding in snohomish
Anna & Andrew got married at one of my all time favorite wedding venues, Maroni Meadows. I hung greenery all over the wooden shelters to accompany all the existing vines & overgrown greenery throughout the venue. Pops of burgundy gave this outdoor summer wedding a moody and romantic feel. Anna & Andrew are two of the most stunning and genuine people I’ve ever met and I wish them all the best throughout their marriage. All photos by Brittany Moore.

perfect spring wedding in seattle
I went to High School and college with Ty and let me tell you, this girl knows how to have a good time. This day was all smiles, all laughter, lots of drinks & so much dancing. So happy I got to be apart of Tyler and Kevon’s perfect wedding day. All photos by Wyat Taylor.
Rue De Seine inspired shoot on the beach
Have you ever seen a Rue De Seine dress? If not, you’re about to and you are going to fall in love. I’m obsessed. This styled shoot was inspired by the power of the divine feminine combined with a bit of spooky & moody & witchy vibes. We woke up early on a foggy spring morning and shot on the beach at golden gardens in Seattle. It was freezing but so so so magical.
