My last wedding of 2020. It was so incredibly magical. The wedding started with a ceremony on Vashon Island where a dense layer of clouds laid on top of the Puget Sound while I set up. By the time the ceremony started, the clouds lifted for a perfect sunny ceremony. While the ceremony was happening on Vashon Island, I took to ferry over to Tacoma where I set up the Bride’s backyard into a micro wedding. Lu, the bride, has now turned into one of my good friends and #1 supporter. It is weddings like this that make me so damn happy to do this for a living.
A Rainy Fall Seattle Backyard Micro Wedding
This backyard Covid micro wedding was one of my favorite weddings of 2020. It was dreary and misting and so Seattle weather. The family built out the backyard with a tent, dance floor, and a stunning ceremony space right under the giant tree in the middle of the yard. My first tree installation ever. It was definitely a challenge but I am so happy with how it all turned out.

Covid Micro Wedding in Beautiful Air Bnb in Leavenworth, Washington
After deciding if they should postpone to next summer, Chelsea & Eric decided to rent an air bnb in Leavenworth, Washington and have a micro wedding. The air bnb was stunning and sat overlooking the Wenatchee River. The morning started out as a beautiful crisp and sunny day but it quickly turned to high winds and freezing rain. As the vendors went back and forth deciding what to do, a break in the rain came through and we quickly hustled everyone out to the ceremony spot to get these two married. Honestly, it was perfect. Here are a few photos from their day.

Intimate Covid Wedding in the Desert of Central Washington
I’m not even sure where to begin with writing this blog. This was one of the most special days of my life because not only was I the florist but also a bridesmaid and the officiant for my best friends, Will & Kenz. As we all know, Covid-19 really screwed up all of our plans for summer 2020. But as it became more and more evident that Kenz and Will wouldn’t get the big wedding they had planned, Kenz didn’t care about anything but marrying Will. And that’s exactly what she did. We were able to create the most magical & beautiful desert inspired wedding on a private residence in central Washington. Kenz has an incredible eye for design and every single detail of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Every time I look back on these photos I’m blown away again at how freaking stunning it was. In the midst of chaos and unpredictability, 30 of us were able to escape into the love story of Kenz & Will. Lots of tears, lots of laughter, so much smiling, and a LOT of dancing (until 4am to be exact). I hope you enjoy scrolling through this gallery & can feel the immense amount of love that was shared on this day.

windy & rainy workshop shoot on the washington coast
I was stoked when Dawn asked me to do the flowers for her Wander Workshop on the Washington coast. I was able to build these ceremony structures with my friend Eli to create a unique ceremony set up. It was a typical winter coast day, rainy & freezing cold, but so much fun.

intimate wedding in vantage, washington
When Covid hit, Jenny and Matt decided to switch up their plans and have a super intimate elopement at one of the most surprising but beautiful landscapes in Washington state. The PNW is amazing because you can go from rain forests on the coast, to epic alpine lakes, to grand deserts. I had tons of fun with this bouquet, with tons of colors and of course my favorite, making it giant.

body art studio shoot
This shoot was something I had dreamed about doing for a long time after being inspired by Passion Flower Sue and all of her incredible creations. I am so drawn to the detail work of body art and how endlessly creative it can be. Amanda Dang worked her makeup magic and Marcella Laine took all the photos. My goal for this shoot was to highlight Black women through art & creativity. It’s hard to put into words the energy and empowerment that was felt in this studio during this shoot. Women encouraging women, embracing sexuality, and just so much fucking beauty.

hiking elopement at the base of mt rainier
The most magical and adventurous elopement at the base of mt rainier.
I met Luke (rad photographer) at a Starbucks parking lot in Seattle to drop off the bouquet with him on his trek to mt rainier. When he sent me back this photo album my jaw dropped. Every single detail of this day is so perfect & so authentic. I designed the bouquet with a combination of different roses, some pops of dried textural pieces and kumquats (my favorite little orange pop). I hope you enjoy scrolling through these photos as much as I did.

fall wedding in roche harbor
The sun came out for this stunning October wedding in Roche Harbor & it couldn’t have been more beautiful. I had so much fun making this fall inspired, super textural bouquet and couldn’t be happier with all the amazing photos that Kim took. Crisp cool air, warm sunshine, colorful flowers, oyster shell name tags & the most enjoyable vendor crew of all time. Katie from Revel San Juan for planning and Kim from La Vie Photography helped create everything you see below.
summer camp wedding in north seattle
These two met while both being summer camp counselors at this exact camp that they got married at. There were buckets of sunscreen, an aquarium of sea animals, a camp cat strutting around, guys playing guitars, kayaks, a rock wall, and so so so much love and excitement. Not your traditional wedding setting but the location was so special to everyone there, you could feel the loving energy just emitting off of everyone. All photos by Brooke Embree.
seattle summer beach wedding
A magical wedding on the water with little wildflower like flowers to brightened it up. Briana & John were a dream to work with and after a crazy cancellation from their original venue, they handled all the last minute planning with such ease and just were happy to be getting married to each other. Worked with the amazing Melissa at Brightside Events and all photos are by the absolutely wonderful Brittney Hyatt.
enchanted forest wedding in snohomish
Anna & Andrew got married at one of my all time favorite wedding venues, Maroni Meadows. I hung greenery all over the wooden shelters to accompany all the existing vines & overgrown greenery throughout the venue. Pops of burgundy gave this outdoor summer wedding a moody and romantic feel. Anna & Andrew are two of the most stunning and genuine people I’ve ever met and I wish them all the best throughout their marriage. All photos by Brittany Moore.

perfect spring wedding in seattle
I went to High School and college with Ty and let me tell you, this girl knows how to have a good time. This day was all smiles, all laughter, lots of drinks & so much dancing. So happy I got to be apart of Tyler and Kevon’s perfect wedding day. All photos by Wyat Taylor.
Rue De Seine inspired shoot on the beach
Have you ever seen a Rue De Seine dress? If not, you’re about to and you are going to fall in love. I’m obsessed. This styled shoot was inspired by the power of the divine feminine combined with a bit of spooky & moody & witchy vibes. We woke up early on a foggy spring morning and shot on the beach at golden gardens in Seattle. It was freezing but so so so magical.
